This modpack was 5 months in the works. It is a tech-centered modpack with a technology tree, focus in progression and hundreds of changed (harder) recipes. This is achieved by gating progression by several blocks and items leading to the next age. The pack is divided in 15 ages, reaching the next age is awarded with an achievement and a trophy you can place. What you can do and have to do in each age to progress and reach the next age is covered in a guide (from FTB Utilities, just click the book in the top left corner).

The goal of the pack is to give a longer lasting experience than other packs, also giving the challenge to automate almost everything. It also features several lesser known mechanics from well-known mods or you have to tackle some well-known problems in a different manner as you lack either some blocks/items you would normally have or they are just too expensive at that stage of the game, the problems mostly how to automate this task or how to generate more power with the ressources I have.

This pack is heavily inspired from FTB Infinity Expert Mode, but is still very different in many ways. The goal was also to not make the recipes harder to just make them harder, but also make sense and balance recipes when two or more mods offer a different solution to a problem.

This modpack is aimed at more experienced players to look for a new challenge, but can also work for semi-experienced players who like tech mods and want to learn more about them and don”t mind the challenge.

Please be sure to be on the latest version of the pack,
also I want to be clear that Optifine is not supported, so please remove it and report the bug only if the problem still exists.

Also be sure when you report the bug – if it”s a crash – to provide a gist or pastebin link to the crash log.

Known bugs that you don”t need to report:

1. Client crash when placing any mekanism block inside a tinkers” anything (casting basin/crafting station/etc.)
2. Client crash when having a DE capacitor in charge held item and holding a enderio creative cap bank
3. Server crash when having a item transfer node/retreival node inserting into a quantum tank
4. Client crash when opening the rftools manual
5. Calculator storage chamber does not work properly with pipes/automation
6. JEI lists some recipes incorrectly (refined iron, charcoal, etc)
7. IC2 quantum generator only outputs 1 packet
8. Scanning IC2 basalt leads to scanning copper
9. End forged and Actually Additions obsidian tools don”t work in Progressive Automation machines
10. Techreborn machines don”t accept the power they are supposed to (see tooltips added by minetweaker for correct values)
11. Tech Reborn fusion reactor cannot be pickedup when placed. The hologram for the multiblock structure is also 1 lower than it should be.
12. Actually Additions empowering laser colors are incorrect on servers
13. Molecular assembler only shows the largest packet size it is getting in the gui, use a eu-reader to see the exact eu/t
14. Rotating a calculator machine with a wrench will make it lose all stored data (power, upgrades, items)
15. Having a mekanism dynamic tank across a chunk boundary will cause it to empty if one of the chunks doesn”t (there have also been reports of them emptying randomly, use at your own risk https://github.com/aidancbrady/Mekanism/issues/3715)
16. Embossing a tough tool rod doesn”t work for a few materials
17. Progressive Automation capacitors do not seem to work properly
18. Quantum solar panel only outputs half of its generation
19. Chiseling andesite or diorite gives stone options rather than the chiseled variants
20. Atomic multiplier resets nbt and meta data when multiplying
21. Using the docking station to automate fire coal eats the bucket
