A new way to mass delete items.

Ever feel that the throwing of each individual piece of cobblestone into that lava trashcan takes too long?

Thats because it does take too long.

My method:

Just look up and right-click on the workbench, put all the items wanted deleting into the crafting screen, exit the crafting screen, and then all the items should automatically eject into the pit of lava.

Remember it”s cool to hate on Notch when he does a good job!

Thats because it does take too long.

My method:

1. Put everything you WANT in a chest by the lava pit.
2. Jump in lava pit.
3. ????
4. Profit!

Actually . . . I have never used this method. I like it though.
Interesting.

Your method:
1) Right click.
2) Click once.
3) Click again in a specific location.
4) Repeat steps 2) and 3) eight more times.
5) Hit the inventory key.

Most used method:
1) Hit inventory button.
2) Click once.
3) Click again in a nonspecific location, just in a general area.
4) Repeat steps 2) and 3) up to potentially 35 more times.
5) Hit the inventory key.

Method 2 allows for less precise clicking and allows 4 times as many stacks with each repition than Method 1.

So, in conclusion, everyone else”s way is better than yours!

This is what I wanted to say, but I couldn”t have worded it so beautifully, especially that last part.

… Why not simply drag the item stacks off-screen instead of having to do twice as much work by loading them up to a workbench first?

This is why Minecraft needs cats. So you can hoard them. Virtual crazy cat lady. Dogs just aren”t that hoardable…

*throws away old pick & shovel*

But I NEVER throw away things like gravel, sand, dirt, cobblestone, etc.
I”m backwards.
What I do is, I put them in my actionbar and sit there pressing Q while making puking sounds. It makes things go alot quicker, and it”s humorous.

1. In WoW, the max level is 85.
2. He never wanted the game to be like WoW, he wanted us to help us build structures from the game.
3. Conversations are never like that in WoW.
At least show SOME intellect when posting.
This is the thing i love about the people of Minecraft, they will pull out a pen paper and do advance math to figure out the single most efficient method of throwing away junk XD
My method was to make a lava pit near spawn, put away wanted items and jump in.

Minecraft makes you do maths.

One day I found myself discussing the effiencency of materials : speed in boat phasing, Minecart transport and Nether warping.

Mostly the best answer is the simplest.

I put everything I want to get rid of in a storage cart. Then when it”s full I push it. It then rolls down a hill and into a lava well
