Đang xem: How to grow warped trees in minecraft

Huge fungi<1> are tree-like structures that generate in the Nether. There are two types of huge fungus: huge crimson fungus and huge warped fungus.

Huge Crimson fungus and Huge Warped fungus generate in crimson forests and warped forests, respectively. Huge fungi only generate naturally in their corresponding biome.

The trunks of huge fungi are made of either warped stems or crimson stems depending on the type. Huge fungus trunks can be either thick or thin: thick trunks grow up in a 3×3-plus shape, with stray stems sometimes in the corners, while thin trunks grow straight up as a 1×1 column. To determine the size of huge fungi, a random integer is chosen between 4 and 13 . There is then a 1/12 chance of that integer doubling. The resulting value is the height of the trunk. A layer of wart blocks and shroomlights (leaves) is then spread around the trunk, being able to generate up to 3 blocks out from the trunk. There is a 3x3x2 hollow ring that surrounds the lowest block of a fungus tree where no blocks generate. Both variants have shroomlight generate inside them, both replacing the wart blocks and stems. Huge crimson fungi may also have weeping vines growing replacing the same, or from the underside of wart blocks. In this way huge crimson fungi may both grow the weeping vines lower than the stems, initially generate replacing the stems, when naturally generated uniquely along the local ceiling.

Player Grown

Both variants can be grown by using bone meal. If a player bonemeals a fungus, and if that fungus is directly above its respective nylium block (e.g. warped fungus on warped nylium), there will be a 40% chance that it will grow. So if a player bonemeals a fungus 4 times, there will be an 87.04% chance it will grow, (99.998% chance if 20 attempts are made).

A fungus plant (the “sapling” of huge fungi), will not grow by itself through random ticks, unlike traditional saplings.

Huge fungi grow even with blocks above them,<2> and do not replace any solid blocks when grown; however, they do not grow if blocked by the world height limit, or if situated outside of the world. Huge fungi can grow up to 27 blocks tall.

The maximum space they can take up is 9×27×9 blocks (partially hollow), and the average is 213 blocks.

Unlike how leaves decay when logs of a tree are removed, nether wart blocks and shroomlight persist even when the stem of the huge fungus is removed. Hoes are the most effective tools at breaking both of these blocks.

Dispenser Grown

Similarly, if bonemeal is placed inside of a dispenser, and then that dispenser is pointing into a fungus plant on its respective nylium block, then there will also be a 40% chance of it growing per attempt. Dispensers can be used to automatically grow the fungus plant, and up to 5 can surround a fungus plant, allowing for fungi to grow at 5hz on average.

There is no diminish in return with bonemeal efficiency, and dispensers used.
