How To Hide Action Bars Wow, Hiding Action Bar Grid : Wow

Hi, I”m currently playing a Hunter and since most of my macros (that used to save me some space) are now broken for some odd reason, I have to use those additional two action bars (on your right) which I hate a lot because they mess up my clean UI.Is there any way to hide those action bars and the spells but still use them via keybinds?p.s.: I do not want addons for this. Or maybe there”s an addon that allows you to bind your spells without having them on your action bars..?ty!

Well, you could try to bind those actionbars and then hide them again in the options, but I doubt the keybinds would respond then. So, nothing without addons I”m afraid. Dominos is a rather good actionbar addon, I know you can hide additional bars but still use buttons on them via keybind (e.g. I use hidden buttons to trigger Fishing and the /mountspecial command)

Yeah if you download dominos:easy to set uptype /kb and it”s easy to place keybindsrich click the actionbar and in the options look for faded opacity etc, set it so you cant see it, but it appears on mouseover.you should still be able to use the spells on the actionbars, without them appearing unless you want them too.

this is my interface, I have only main attacks on bar, the rest is hidden with dominos – Bartender is doing the same, but I prefer Dominos over it, because it follows the original action bar code so it has not that big memory usage. You can just hide any of the bars by shift + left click on them. Make sure you will download addon called redRange from wowinterface whren using Dominos, it´s a small 3kb addon, which makes your bars turn red when something is too far away.
As already been said but to underline you dont need anything for this to work, just keybind as you please and hide the bars, easiest done with bartender ofc but you do not have to install a whole UI for it to work like some try to say.

So I can just place spells on my action bars -> bind them -> hide action bars via option -> use spells but not see action bars? With no addons? And what if I want to hide only those two on the right and leave the main ones visible?

Bartender can do it aswell. http://www.youtube.com/faroth26#p/u/5/Fp41ZZz57IkLook at the top left – before she lands, I got a bar with professions, some mounts, etc. When I get into combat, it goes away. I have done it with ohter bars with keybinds before, they will still work.
As a previous poster suggested in the default UI, the right-hand bars, or in fact any bar except for the primary can be hidden without the need for additional addons.Any keys which are binded will continue to operate just fine.Game Menu – Interface – Action Bars – – Right Bar – Right Bar 2.

god damn, people, read what he”s saying.Yes, the default UI allows you to enable those bars, put spells on them, bind spells to keys, and hide (turn off) the bars and have the spells still work

9 times out of 10, an addon is an easier solution (because Blizzard”s UI is that terrible). If it is that one rare time, I”ll try to provide that solution.
