Steps To Breed Chickens
1. Find Two Chickens To Breed
We first need to find two chickens to start the breeding process. If you”re having trouble finding chickens you can summon them with a cheat or use a spawn egg.
We need the chickens to remain close to each other, so it”s a good idea to fence them in.
2. Feed The Chickens Seeds
With the chickens next to each other, we need to feed each chicken the seeds. Select the seeds in your Hotbar and feed each chicken separately using the following game controls:
Java Edition (PC/Mac), Windows 10 Edition, Education Edition: right click on the chickens.Pocket Edition (PE): tap on the chickens.
Xbox 360, Xbox One: press the LT button.PS3, PS4: press the L2 button.Wii U, Nintendo Switch: press the ZL button
After feeding the chickens the seeds, you”ll notice red hearts appear. This signifies that the chickens are entering love mode.
Once the red hearts disappear, a baby chick will appear. It typically takes about 20 minutes for the baby chick to become an adult chicken. However, you can speed up that process by feeding the chick seeds.
And you must wait 5 minutes before your adult chickens will be able to breed again.
That”s how to breed chickens in Minecraft! Minecraft chickens are a passive mob that lay eggs.
