Ability to teleport players between dimensions with commands when in creative/op, without the need for portals. Would be super useful for map makers and server owners who need to quickly teleport between dimensions without the need to keep building portals. Commands could be something along the lines of “/tp dimension:” ex: “/tp CyanJDroid dimension:end”
Edit: some have pointed out that it'd make more sense to just add an optional argument to the end of the current /tp command format like this: “/tp
This is a really good idea; would it teleport you to your overworld coords divided by 8 (the same coming back multiplies by 8) or would it teleport you to 0, 0, 0 no matter where you are? Or perhaps you can give specific coords to teleport to?
I like the idea but I think the cleanest solution would be to change the tp syntax to
EDIT: fixed command

Upvoted. Absolutely. It would not only be great for the situations you described, but also for when you're just playing around in Creative. It's very annoying to have to keep building Nether or End portals when I want to start a Nether or End design, especially since my creative worlds usually are huge and filled with so many things that there's no one location I could just stay around to put the portals.
I don't think it makes much sense to add it to /tp, as that's used for a completely different purpose of moving around in the world you're currently in. Maybe it could be something like /portal?
Also, it doesn't make much sense for it to be “dimension:(blah)”, as that's unlike the current way ID's work. “minecraft:(blah)” would probably work better, as it fits with potion, item, and block ID's.
