Effective Enchanting : Minecraft Enchanting Guide Reddit, Best Enchantments For Gear : Minecraft

So I'm at the point in the game where I can farm Enchanted books left right and center and was wondering on how to get the best “Enchantments”.

Đang xem: Minecraft enchanting guide reddit

What I mean is putting as many Enchantments on a Sword as possible, and the other tools.

I recall someone mentioning “Put them in the Anvil heaviest to lightest” but my only problem is that some enchantments can't work together, like Mending and Infinity.

Is there a list of items that shows the maximum amount of enchantments as possible? And which enchantments conflict with each other? Thank you in advance!

/u/capfan67 does a wonderful job of explaining. Be sure to read more of the comments and not just the highlighted one.

If you're looking to just make the ultimate enchanted sword I can help you with that. After many hours of trial and error I figured out the correct order of events required to not end up with “too expensive”. This also allows you to put ALL SEVEN possible sword enchants onto one sword which includes mending so it'll never break.

An important note is to ALWAYS use the best possible quality of the enchantment you're going to be using on an item. The one exception being Sharpness IV.

Get the following books directly from the enchantment table, villager trades or dungeon chests –

DO NOT COMBINE ANY BOOKS TOGETHER IN ORDER TO PRODUCE THESE

Also be sure to drag and drop the books/sword into the left slot or right slot on the anvil depending on which side of the step the book/sword is listed on as combining them in the wrong order will result in too expensive

Sharpness IV (You'll need two of them)

Looting III

Sweeping Strike III

Unbreaking III

Fire Aspect II

Knock Back II

Mending

Follow the steps listed below:

1 Apply the Looting III book directly to the sword

2 Combine the Two Sharpness IV books into one Sharpness V book

3 Combine Mending with Fire Aspect II into Mending/Fire

4 Combine Mending/Fire with Knockback II into Mending/Fire/Knockback

5 Combine Sweeping Edge III with Unbreaking III into Sweeping/Unbreaking

6 Combine Sweeping/Unbreaking with Sharpness V into Sweeping/Unbreaking/Sharpness

7 APPLY Mending/Fire/Knockback Book onto the Looting III Sword

8 Combine The Looting/Fire/Mending/Knockback Sword with Sweeping/Unbreaking/Sharpness
