Minecraft How To Make Infinite Lava Source In Minecraft? Is There An Infinite Lava Source

I have recently discovered that it is possible to create an infinite water source, but have been struggling to come up with infinite lava. Does anybody know how to create an infinite lava source?

Infinite lava is not possible. However if you go to the Nether you will find more lava source blocks than you will ever be able to use.

It”s impossibe to make an infinite lava source. The closest thing you”re going to get to an infinite lava source is the Nether”s lava oceans.

whatever that means. but yeah, ive found a lave pool at bedrock which ive taken at least 12 buckets of lava from.

Probably repeating it for the 2000th time, but, there is no way to create infinite lava. I used to not like it… but now I think it”s a good thing.

There is a way to make long lasting lava. Make a lava pit and make it deep then pour lava so its fills up. If its a 2×2 wide one, then it should take at most, four lava buckets at the top. Do that and you can work your way down to the bottom. Use that last four squares at the bottom to reset it. Otherwise its impossible to make a infinite lava source. Well to my knowledge. The neither has infinite lava because it generates. :tongue.gif:
I”d say it”s not a bad idea to designate a section of the Nether to take lava from. Remember you can”t dump water though!

…that would be an infinite lava source, just needs resetting. Also, wouldn”t you only be able to take the top lava, as the bottom aren”t source blocks?

I believe so from a bucket it turns into a lava source, and it stays like that unless it splits (divides into un-filled spots). So yes, that could work, but I don”t really think it would.
