Wow Macro Cast On Focus – Focus And Macros: The Key Skills You Need For Pvp

I remember back in the WotLK I was able to make some very useful macros that did specific actions based on certain conditionals. For instance, I could make a macro that used Intercept at your mouseover target (if I had a valid mouseover target), and if not then if you were holding down the ALT while activating the macro it would cast Intercept at my focus target (if I had a valid focus target), and if none of the previous conditionals were met it would simply cast Intercept at my current target.

Đang xem: Wow macro cast on focus

I don't have my old macros, but I think it was something along the lines of

#showtooltip Intercept

/cast <
mouseover, harm> focus, harm> <> Intercept

However, I haven't been able to get it to work on the 2.4.3 server that I'm currently playing on. Additionally, I haven't had much luck researching 2.4.3 macro syntax on the interwebs. My final hope is you, r/wowservers.

Is there anyone who could help with this?

Additionally, I don't know if it's possible, but it might be nice if I the macro would also focus the mouseover target (while also casting the ability of course) in case you actually have a mouseover taget with the “harm” conditional being satisfied.

I use this macro on all my healers in all the servers Wotlk+, haven't tried this on TBC though (I know this doesn't work on vanilla)

#showtooltip

/cast <
mouseover,help,exists> <
target,help,nodead> <
targettarget,help,nodead> <
player> Healing Touch

What this do is cast Healing Touch on any allied that I'm mouseovering; if I'm not mouseovering anyone it casts on my target; if I don't have any target NOR am I mouseovering anyone it casts on me

Alright, this works sort of alright:

#showtooltip Kick

/focus

/cast <> Kick

However, whenever the macro attempts to kick a target, it targets that target (so let's say I've currently targeted mob A, then mouseover mob B and press the macro –> I've now got target B as my target (as well as my focus)). With Blind it doens't work like this.

Is there any way to circumvent this behaviour? (like target = lasttarget in the end of the macro or something)

(the great idea is to kick the intended target without removing your current target)

How about: If you have no focus, make current target focus and cast in focus target. if no target or target is focus target, and focus target is dead, remove focus target. If no target or target is focus target, and focus target is alive, cast on focus target.

Can any 1 make this?
